ישי יפה (נולד ב-18 בספטמבר 1962), הוא כלכלן ופרופ' למימון בבית הספר למנהל עסקים של האוניברסיטה העברית. בין השנים 2010–2012 כיהן כסגן דיקן בית הספר למנהל עסקים ובין השנים 2012 ל-2016 כיהן כדיקן בית הספר.

ביוגרפיה עריכה

יפה סיים את לימודי התואר הראשון בהצטיינות בכלכלה ולימודי מזרח אסיה באוניברסיטה העברית (1988), ודוקטורט בכלכלה באוניברסיטת הרווארד (1993). הוא לימד בעבר באוניברסיטת אוקספורד ואוניברסיטת מונטריאול וכיהן כיועץ בבנק ישראל, הרשות לניירות ערך וקרן המטבע הבינלאומית. ישי יפה הוא עמית מחקר של ה- Center For Economic Policy Research) CEPR) בלונדון ושל ה- European Corporate Governance Institute) ECGI) בבריסל.

יפה מרצה בקורסים: נושאים בכלכלה פיננסית ובסדנה למשפט מימון והרגולציה של שוק ההון.[1]

מחקר עריכה

מחקריו של פרופסור ישי יפה עוסקים בממשל תאגידי, בכלכלות מזרח אסיה ובהיסטוריה פיננסית וכלכלית. עבודותיו התפרסמו, בין השאר, בכתבי עת מובילים בכלכלה ובמימון כמו ה- Quarterly Journal of Economics, ה- Journal of Finance, ה-Journal of Economic Literature וחלקן מצוטטות מאות פעמים. ספרו, Emerging Markets and Financial Globalization (שנכתב יחד עם פאולו מאורו ונתן זוסמן) הופיע בהוצאת אוניברסיטת אוקספורד ב-2006.
