קשרים עסקיים בפרט עלולים להיפגע מאייזוצ'י על ידי דוברים שיפנית אינה שפת האם שלהם, אם הם מניחים שעמיתיהם [[יפן|היפנים]] הסכימו להצעותיהם לאורך כל הדרך, כאשר במציאות היפנים רק אמרו שהם עוקבים אחר ההצעות או מבינים אותן.
