יואל מגדל

יואל שמואל מגדל (נולד ב-1 באפריל 1945) הוא פרופסור ללימודים בינלאומיים באוניברסיטת וושינגטון.

אודות

מגדל סיים את התואר ראשון מאוניברסיטת רוטגרס בשנת 1967 בהצטיינות, ואחר כך תואר שני (1968) ודוקטורט (1972) מאוניברסיטת הרווארד. בין השנים 1972 ל-1974 היה מרצה באוניברסיטת תל אביב, ובשנת 1974 מונה למרצה בכיר. בשנת 1976 היה לעמית מחקר באוניברסיטת הרווארד ובין השנים 1975 ל-1980 היה פרופסור חבר לממשל באוניברסיטת הרווארד. בשנת 1980 החל ללמד באוניברסיטת וואשינגטון ובשנת 1982 מונה לפרופסור מן המניין.

בין השנים 2002-2003 היה עמית ליידי דייויס באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים
