Tuscarora Organic Growers (TOG) provides a Pennsylvania hub for produce that fulfill the orders of Washington Area customers such as Timber Pizza Company who use both basil and kale on the toppings of this pizza. Timber Pizza co-owners say that during a warm summer day such as this they often serve more than 260 pizzas during the 4-hour mid-day market hours, and additional pizzas during the USDA Evening Farmers Market. Popularity and profitability may come in part to their use of Tuscarora Organic Growers (TOG) which they say, has an efficient online ordering system and the products they deliver to their pizza restaurant in Washington's Petworth District, are of consistent high quality. Supplies such as basil for pesto sauce and garnishing, tomatoes for sauce and toppings, and corn for toppings were produced and delivered by Tuscarora Organic Growers. The Timber Pizza Company team consisted of Melody Tally helping customers and taking the orders, then co-owner Andrew Dana throws the dough for Maksym Olah and Mobile Manager Rob Thompson on the the preparation line, then co-owner Chris Brady works the pizzas in the wood fire mobile oven, then he slides the cooked pizzas onto platters so Jordan Stahl can finish with torn basil and a couple quick cuts.
