العربية: طفلة بنغلاديشيَّة مُصابة بالجُدري سنة 1973. أُعلن عن استئصال الجُدري من بنغلاديش خِلال شهر كانون الأوَّل (ديسمبر)، سنة 1977 عندما أصدرت مُنظَّمة الصحَّة العالميَّة بيانًا رسميًّا تُبشِّرُ فيه بالقضاء على هذا المرض في البلاد.
বাংলা: বাংলাদেশের এই অল্প বয়স্ক মেয়েটি ১৯৭৩ সালে গুটিবসন্তে আক্রান্ত হয়েছিল। ১৯৭৭ সালের ডিসেম্বর মাসে বাংলাদেশকে গুটিবসন্ত মুক্ত হিসাবে ঘোষণা করা হয়, যখন হু আন্তর্জাতিক কমিশন আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে প্রত্যয়ন করে যে দেশটি থেকে গুটিবসন্ত সম্পূর্ণরুপে নির্মূল করা হয়েছে।

English: This young girl in Bangladesh was infected with smallpox in 1973. Freedom from smallpox was declared in Bangladesh in December, 1977 when a WHO International Commission officially certified that smallpox had been eradicated from that country.
