Henning Svendsen of Aakirkeby operated Leyland - DAB coaches and there is also a photo of one of his derelict YMT - Plaxtons YMT Plaxton - 2.jpg here on an excellent Danish Bedford photogallery site.. Ford R1114 - Plaxton DX 98570 is pictured outside a fish smokery on the east side of the island, May 1987 in the ownership of NE Hansen of Svaneke, though originally new to Ejvind Holm of Gudhjem under a different registration. Thanks to Thomas at myldretid.dk/om_myldretid/ I now learn that 50 Plaxton bodied Bedford coaches were imported into Denmark in the late 1970s. Some more photos may be seen here..... The poor quality of this rather dark slide might be enhanced by a better scanner eventually.

Perusal of the bus lists on the web reveals over 50 Bedford and Ford chassis bodied by Plaxtons of Scarborough and exported to Denmark in the time period 1976-9. One or two came to Bornholm. This one is possibly ex- BZ98915 supplied new to Knud Jørgensen of Svaneke.
