אלקטרו האוס
אלקטרו האוס (באנגלית: Electro house) הוא ז'אנר של מוזיקת דאנס אלקטרונית המאופיינת בבס כבד ובקצב של כ-130 פעימות לדקה.[1][2] בין המוזיקאים המשתמשים בז'אנר נמצאים המוזיקאים בני בנאסי, סקרילקס, סטיב איוקי ו-Deadmau5.[3][4][5]

העיתונאי הבריטי, סיימון ריינולדס (אנ') תיאר את הז'אנר כסגנון המיוחס לאמנים כמו זד, ארול אלקן (אנ') ו-The Bloody Beetroots (אנ').[6] אלקטרו האוס מאופיין בבס כבד, לרוב עם צלילי תוף בס גדולים, בייסליינים,[2] גלי שן מסורים ודיסטורשן.[7] הקצב של הז'אנר הוא בדרך כלל בין 125 ל-135 פעימות לדקה, אם כי בדרך כלל 130 פעימות לדקה.[1] אף על פי שאלקטרו האוס לפעמים דומה לטק האוס (אנ'),[8] אלקטרו האוס יכול להכיל אלמנטים מלודיים,[1] וכן דגימות וסינתיסייזרים מבוססי אלקטרו.[8] לעומת זאת, ריינולדס הצהיר שלז'אנר כמעט ולא קשור להאוס או לאלקטרו.[6]
היסטוריה עריכה
ריינולדס תיאר כי אלקטרו האוס הושפע מ-Discovery של דאפט פאנק, ג'אסטיס ודיגיטליזם (אנ'). הז'אנר הצליח בארצות הברית בזכות Deadmau5.[6]
עד 2011, המילה "אלקטרו" כבר נתפסה כשם תואר המציין "מוזיקת דאנס אלקטרונית קשה".[9]
שירים שסומנו רטרואקטיבית כאלקטרו האוס כוללים את "Dark Invader" של Arrivers ו-"Raw S*it" של Basement Jaxx (אנ').[10] הסינגל "Flat Beat" של Mr. Oizo (אנ') נחשב גם הוא כשיר מהז'אנר.[11]
אנדי קלמן מ-AllMusic תיאר את "Satisfaction" של בני בנאסי כשיר אלקטרו האוס.[12][13] באמצע העשור הראשון של המאה ה-21, אלקטרו האוס נהיה פופולרי.[1] בנובמבר 2006, השיר "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit" של פדה לה גרנד (אנ') והרמיקס של די. רמירז (אנ') לשיר "Yeah Yeah" של בודירוקס (אנ') ולוסיאנה (אנ') הופיעו במקום הראשון והשני, בהתאמה, במצעד הסינגלים הבריטי.[14] מאז, צצו מפיקי אלקטרו האוס כמו ג'ון גוך (אנ'), נייף פארטי (אנ'), The M Machine (אנ'), פורטר רובינסון, יסוטאקה נקאטה (אנ')[15] ודאדה לייף.
