גריזלדה פולוק
גריזלדה פולוק (באנגלית: Griselda pollock; נולדה ב-11 במרץ 1949) היא היסטוריונית בריטית לתולדות האמנות באוניברסיטת לידס שבאנגליה, וזוכת פרס הולברג לשנת 2020.

פולוק מהווה דמות מרכזית בקידום הטענה כי גישות פמיניסטיות לחקר האמנות אינן רק נספח, אלא קריטיות לפרויקט של חשיבה מחדש על תפקיד האמנות בחברה, עד כה כיוון שהחברה מבוססת על אי שוויון בין המינים.[1]
חיים אישיים עריכה
פולוק נולדה ב -11 במרץ 1949 לאלן וינסטון סטן פולוק וקתלין אלכסנדרה סינקלייר פולוק בדרום אפריקה. בשנת 1956 היא עברה יחד עם משפחתה לקנדה. בשנת 1962, היא היגרה בשנית עם משפחתה לבריטניה. בשנת 1980 היא התחתנה עם אנטוני בראיינט.[2]
השכלה וקריירה עריכה
בשנת 1970 סיימה פולוק בהצטיינות תואר בהיסטוריה מודרנית באוניברסיטת אוקספורד. היא סיימה תואר שני בהצטיינות בתולדות האמנות, במכון קורטולד, אוניברסיטת לונדון ב-1972 . לאחר סיום התואר השני היא לימדה באוניברסיטת קנטרברי לאמנות, אוניברסיטת רדינג ואוניברסיטת מנצ'סטר. ב-1977 היא עברה לאוניברסיטת לידס בתור מרצה לתולדות האמנות והקולנוע. בשנת 1980 היא קיבלה את תואר הדוקטורט שלה. היא כתבה את עבודת הדוקטורט שלה על גישות המודרניזם באמנותו של וינסנט ואן גוך.
פולוק עלתה לדרגת מרצה בכירה בשנת 1987. בשנת 1990 היא קיבלה כיסא אישי בהיסטוריה חברתית וביקורתית של האמנות. בשנת 2001 היא מונתה לתפקיד מנהלת המרכז לניתוח תרבות, תיאוריה והיסטוריה כפרופסור להיסטוריה חברתית וביקורתית לאמנות. בשנת 2014 ו-2015 היא יעצה לביאנלה של איסטנבול (תערוכת אמנות עכשווית בינלאומית) ה-14: "תיאוריה של צורות מחשבה", יחד עם עוד שני אמנים, ביניהם ברכה אטינגר. ב-2019 הוענק לפולוק, יחד עם דניאלה לוקסמבורג, מענק כבוד ממכון קורטולד לאמנות, בהוקרה על תרומתן היוצאת מן הכלל לאמנות החזותית. בשנת 2020 היא זכתה בפרס הולברג על התרומות פורצות הדרך שלה לתולדות האמנות הפמיניסטית ולימודי התרבות. פולוק מתמחה ב: לימודים פמיניסטיים באמנות החזותית; לימודים קריטים [GK1] של אמנות עכשווית (תוכנית בינלאומית ללימודי תואר שני); התרבות הפמיניסטית; ניתוח תרבותי, תיאוריה והיסטוריה; היסטוריות חברתיות של האמנות; טראומה ואסתטיקה; אוֹפֵּרָה.[3][4][2][5]
