Henry Andrawes - Artist
Actor and scriptwriter born in the village of Tarshiha. located in the Upper Galilee mountains.
Graduated with honors earning a BA in Theatre and Arts from Haifa University. Co-founder and member of Khashabi Ensemble Theatre in Haifa, he also works as an actor in many local and global theaters. Andrawes teaches a theatre in Haifa University, provides text editing and dramaturgy. Seeking new acting mechanisms during his workshops and artistic activities, Henry explores blatant and different theatrical methods. He has acted in almost 30 plays, many movies and TV productions by global production companies.
He is a scriptwriter and actor in one of the most popular satirical programs called "Al-Shosmo".
Andrawes is known for Splits apartments (2023), The Angle (2018), Bar Bahar (2016), The Savior (2012), Menayec season 3 (2023), Fauda (2018).
Many of the theatrical and cinematic works he took part in were performed on numerous stages and galleries in different European countries, in the Middle East, the Far East and Australia, such as “Avenue Festival”, “Romaeuropa Festival”, “Théâtre de la Ville”. winning local and global prestigious awards.
