THE THIRD BATTLE OF YPRES (PASSCHENDAELE) 31 JULY - 10 NOVEMBER 1917
Battle of Langemarck 16-18 August: 12 inch railway gun at Woesten with its crew perched on it and the slogan "Not on Strike" on the barrel.
NOTE : The pattern of the bogie wheels with the frame inside identifies this as a 12 inch Railway Gun on Vickers Mk I mounting.


This is the gun on the Vickers mounting with the square-profiled carriage and no warping winch at the front.
