מספר האבדות הבריטיות בקרב מגדבה הסתכם ב-146: 22 הרוגים, מהם חמישה קצינים ו-124 פצועים, מהם שבעה קצינים. כ-300 עות'מאנים נהרגו וכ-40 מפצועיהם טופלו בידי הבריטים. יותר מ-1000 נלקחו בשבי, מהם 43 קצינים, כולל חאדיר ביי, עיזאת ביי ורושטי ביי. היתר נמלטו.
בהמשך, ב[[קרב רפיח (1917)]], השלימו הבריטים את דחיקת העות'מאנים מסיני, ופתחו לפני צבאם את הדרך לכיבוש [[ארץ ישראל]].
