*Hi everyone, I decided to step in on the conversation. First of all, I apologize in advance if I am missing some things that were being reported. The translator does a terrible job translating Hebrew. As far as my understanding goes, we have several problems needing addressing, some of which I have been investigating, but not sufficiently resolved so far, that Harej has reported to me. The biggest issue we have here are that several (not just one) domains are being erroneously seen as dead when they indeed are not. Do I have this correct? Under that assumption I have taken a look at one of them and believe the issue to be a result of some kind of failure in the bot here. Taking chabad for example, site is not apparently blacklisting the bot from accessing it. Historical logs indicate that the bot is receiving a 503 BAD GATEWAY error when other processes can read it just fine. This indicates a configuration error in setting up the request to the website. At this time, I have not been able to identify what is causing this particular error, but I have to assume it is a similar situation with the other domains we are having issues with. Secondly, I understand the bot is unmarking dead references. This is clearly and undoubtedly a bug. The bot isn't even set to do that behavior. Lastly we have the bot rescuing links when scan logs indicate the link is alive. These are two critical failures here and absolutely will be fixed before the bot will be re-enabled on this wiki. We have no intentions of resuming operations until these reported issues are fixed, and as a result the backend has been disabled for this wiki and job queue submissions also disabled. This will allow us to perform our tests as needed, but it would really be helpful if the bot were unblocked so it can perform its trial runs when we are ready to run it. At this time nobody but the developers can run the bot from the bot account.
