ויקטוריה (.V.E) שוואב (נולדה ב -7 ביולי 1987) היא סופרת פנטזיה אמריקאית הידועה בזכות ספרה Vicious משנת 2013, סדרת Shades of Magic, וספרי הילדים והנוער הבוגר שלה שפורסמו בשם ויקטוריה שוואב .
כְּתִיבָה
עריכההגרדיאן קרא את Vicious "חקר מבריק של מיתוס גיבורי העל ומותחן נקמה מרתק". [1] הוא זכה לביקורת מעולה של Publishers Weekly,[2] שקראו לספר אחד מהספרים הטובים ביותר לשנת 2013 בקטגוריית מדע בדיוני\פנטזיה\אימה.[3] איגוד הספריות האמריקאיות גם העניקה לו את התואר ספר הפנטזיה הטוב ביותר ברשימת הקריאה של 2014. [4] בסוף 2013 הזכויות לעיבוד קולנועי של Vicious נקנו במשותף על ידי Story Mining & Supply Co ו- Scott Free Productions של רידלי סקוט . [5] [6]
בשנת 2014 שוואב חתמה על עסקה בת שני ספרים עם Tor Books .[3] הספר הבא שלה, A Darker Shade of Magic, התפרסם בפברואר 2015 וזכה גם לביקורת מכוכבת מPublishers Weekly.[7] סדרת "Vicious" ו- "Shades of Magic" hmtu ktur בהוצאת Tor Books. בשנת 2017 היא חתמה עם Tor Books על עסקת ספרים נוספת על ספר ההמשך ל-Vicious הנקרא Vengeful; טרילוגיה חדשה בשם "Threads of Power" באותו עולם כמו סדרת Shades of Magic; וספר בהשראת Blade-Runner בשם "Black Tabs". במאי 2018 העבירה שוואב את ההרצאה השנתית השישית של טולקין במכללת פמברוק באוקספורד . [9]
