קבוצת שנאה
קבוצת שנאה היא קבוצה חברתית וקבוצת אינטרס המקדמת ודוגלת בשנאה, עוינות או אלימות כלפי בני גזע, עדה, לאום, דת, מגדר, זהות מגדרית, נטייה מינית או כל מגזר ייעודי אחר בחברה. לפי ה-FBI, המטרה העיקרית של קבוצות השנאה היא לקדם איבה, עוינות וזדון כלפי אנשים המשתייכים לגזע, דת, מוגבלות, נטייה מינית או מוצא אתני/לאומי השונה מזו של חברי הארגון.[1]
בארצות הברית, הימין האלטרנטיבי הוא מונח רחב הכולל שורה של ארגונים המתאפיינים בגזענות, באנטישמיות ובתמיכה בעליונות לבנה, ואלו מהווים בדרך כלל קבוצות שנאה. בין הארגונים האלה נמנים הכנסייה הבפטיסטית וסטבורו, קו קלוקס קלאן, הנערים הגאים ותנועת היצירה.
הארגון "אומת האסלאם" הוגדר על ידי המרכז המשפטי לדרום העני ועל ידי הליגה נגד השמצה כקבוצת שנאה המקדמת עליונות שחורה.
