ברוך בואך לוויקיפדיה. כפי ששמת לב בניסוי שעשית, יש באפשרותך לערוך כמעט כל דף באתר. זה עובד. גם אם התכוונת רק לבדוק את אפשרויות העריכה, השינוי שביצעת בדף ספר זכריה מוצג למשתמשים אחרים שצופים באותו הדף, וחבל. להבא, יש לבצע עריכות כאלה בארגז החול שנועד לתרגול הממשק של ויקיפדיה. ניסויים, השחתות, הבלים, שגיאות וגסויות לא נשארים בדפי ויקיפדיה זמן רב, משום ששינויי הדפים מנוטרים ונבדקים כל העת בשבע עיניים. בכל זאת, בזמן הקצר שיעבור בין השינוי שביצעת בדף לבין תיקונו, עשויים לראות את השינוי קוראיו של הדף, ובכך ייחשפו למידע מוטעה או לדף מושחת, מה שעשוי להטעות אותם. כדי ללמוד יותר על האתר כדאי לפנות אל דף ברוכים הבאים. שאלות בנושאי תוכן, שלא נמצא להן מענה בדפי העזרה הקיימים בוויקיפדיה, יש להוסיף כאן.

Eli, my edit to the redirection page constituted an improvement to Wikipedia, in that, thanks to my edit, the redirection page did not merely take users to a page that discussed the topic named in the redirection page, but rather redirected users to specifically that portion of the page that dealt with the topic named in the redirection page.  Thus, your suggestion that I use the sandbox seems a tad...out of place, does it not?  There is no way I can possibly improve the redirection page (which I did) from the sandbox.  Indeed, the only way for me to make the sort of improvement I made to the redirection page is to edit the redirection page itself.

It's a shame you did not see the value to my edit that I saw.  Sadly, it appears you undid my edit.  I do not wish to engage in edit warring, so I'll simply conclude by saying: please consider undoing your edit, restoring the page to the condition in which I left it.
